* Help families adjust to the prenatal diagnosis and/or birth of a child with Down syndrome;
* Connect individuals with Down syndrome and their families with support and resources;
* Provide social and educational opportunities for individuals with Down syndrome and their families to meet, interact and learn;
* Increase community awareness of the capabilities and contributions of individuals with Down syndrome;
* Support local organizations that provide services to individuals with Down syndrome.
Item Donations For "Shop for Good" Holiday Online Sale + Auction
Claritas Creative Foundation will be hosting our “Shop for Good” Holiday sale and auction in November.
The Holiday Sale and Auction will be a great place to find holiday gifts for friends and family! Proceeds of this fundraiser will support our work on developmental disability inclusion and equity for women in the workforce. As partners in this effort, a portion of the proceeds will also be shared with the Down Syndrome Association of Northern Virginia.

Do you have a skill or hobby you’d like to share for good? We’re looking for item donations for our upcoming Holiday Sale and Auction. Don’t have time to make something, but have extra supplies? We’re accepting handmade goods, crafting and school supplies and store-bought goods!
Calling All Clearance Shoppers:
Do you love a good bargain? We’re looking for item donations for our upcoming Holiday Sale and Auction. Put your sale sleuthing to the test. Next time you’re shopping a clearance sale keep your eyes peeled for something that could be donated to our online sale and auction. You can donate a single item or a basket of smaller items. Donated items must have a minimum of $25 value.

2018 Celebrating Women Business Leaders Networking Event
This event has passed.
Thank you to all who joined us. Our event raised over $1,500 for Claritas Creative Foundations’ Suzanne Turner Creative Empowerment Grant. We also collected 214 items of professional clothing that was donated to Suited for Change. We awarded the second annual Suzanne Turner Creative Empowerment Grant, a $3,000 cash grant and $3,000 of communications services to Open Door Sports, a non-profit organization that provides provide after-school sports programs to children with special needs and those with financial challenges in the metro DC area.
